Our daughter has been at Portland Daycare almost from the day it opened, starting in the infant room, and is now in the toddler room. We cannot say enough good things about this daycare! Most importantly (in our view), the staff are fantastic. They truly care about the children and develop one-on-one relationships with them. Our daughter still runs to the infant teachers with hugs and kisses although she has been out of their room for months! There is minimal staff turnover, which means a lot to us - once they get the right people in the positions, they seem to stay long-term. Everybody in the operation genuinely loves children, including the owner and the wonderful cook, and we trust our daughter with any one of them. There are craft projects and activities galore - our daughter may come home dirty, but we know she had a lot of fun! The facility itself is also great. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The outdoor play area is continually be added to and the kids seem to love it.
